what is a good ignition set up on a FI 402?

plugs?
wires?
coil packs?
starter?
icm?

Stock coils, dunno about plugs, MSD/LS2/Stock wires (all about the same), stock starter, and wtf is ICM? Do you mean PCM? If so, the stocker is nice as long as it's not a 98 model.

It should have plenty of grunt, I've never seen anyone with a problem.

Until they make a 13.5/1 compression 572 cubic inch LSx - the stock starter should be more than enough.

I use stock coils, taylor thundervolt wires, NGK TR6 plugs, stock starter, and stock PCM with my 408.

I don't think the 572 part will he happening anytime soon.. but I know for sure there's guys out there running way over 13.5 to 1 compression.. haven't heard of anyone having starter issues, but the really small LW batt't don't care for that too much.
