do STB's fit over the FAST 90's???

Default do STB's fit over the FAST 90's???

do the basic STB's that cross the manifolds fit over a FAST 90 manny?

I was looking at one installed the other day and it got me thinking?

I used a UMI STB and it cleared the 90 fine.

I think the poly mounts had raised the motor up a bit. I put the intake on, and TRIED to put the STB back on, but no dice.

The SLP STB fits with very minimal clearance - only a few mm. I ended up shimming the STB up a little bit more with .060" stainless washers. Worked great, and now I have great piece of mind that with the engine-flex the FAST won't contact it. Prior to the shims it was just waaaay too close for comfort.

That's good to know. I'm still running the stock motor mounts but will be getting poly mounts soon so I guess that I'll just have to shim the STB up a little like 02RedHawk said.

NO I DID READ IT.. WHAT I MENT IS IT WONT FIT WITHOUT RIGGING UP SOMETHING TO BOOST IT UP (LIKE YOU DID) HELL ANYOF THEM WILL FIT IF YOU DO THAT!!!! SO WHY DONT YOU KET THE STICK OUT OF YOUR *** AND QUIT TRING TO BE A SMARTASS

Must have seen mine eh???

I wasn't paying that much attention to it, and ended up taking a small piece of the raised red lettering off the intake with the SLP STB.
I have since just used a couple washers to space it up.

Poly mounts.
