I'm getting dynoed this weekend. I'm gonna swap my ported tb inplace of my stock one after the first pull.

About how much have you guys gotten from the.

I searched didn't find any definitive answers.

It also has the bump stop mod. Doesn't that increase throttle response?

I would like to see a dyno pull before and after, that sounds exagerated. I would venture to guess in the neighborhood of 5rwhp.

I think the results would vary depending on how many mods are done to your car but here is a dyno pull before and after a ported tb.

Look at the dyno sheet on my home page and the times between pulls. Same tune, only change was the TB- even hooked the coolant lines back up to it.

A car Never Dynos the Same #s on each pull. why swap it out? for the Regualr one? Just to see how much you gain you might end up seeing nothing.

You can do your own or buy one. Nick Williams seems to be the hot ticket right now for ported TB's. I'm planning on buying an unported one and trying it myself. I like working on used parts so if I screw it up I still have the original working part

You can get ported ones on Ebay too.

Which is better, porting my original TB on a 2000 LS1 or buying the BBK 80mm TB.
