Need Little Help w/ 160 stat So last night i installed SLP's cold air flow pac and a 160 stat in my 2001 SS. And i took her out and the water temp wouldnt go any lower then right below the 210 mark. even at a 50 mph criuse she was still hot... Anyone kno why? Because i had a 96 ss and put a 160 in that and ran cool as could be. Thanks

Both of these guys are correct. If you get the fans re-programmed, it will run cooler, yet stil say 210. Autotap or an aftermarket temp guage will verify.
