Random Tech Cat Question
I bought a pair of Random Tech cats thinking they would be bolt on like the stock cats. They are obviosuly not now that I have them in hand My question is, is it possible to have them welded into the stock flanges without having to destroy my new SLP y-pipe? I have talked to a couple places so far and they all said they would have no problem welding them in to work on the car, but they would have to cut a piece off of each end of my Y-pipe.

Re: Random Tech Cat Question
If you bought the small 70000 series cats, yes.
I just finished up my install of these small, yet high flowing 560 CFM, cats , in the srock factory location. I had them welded into a set of Mufflex 2.5" SS cat-bypass pipes. I did all the cutting & tacked them up in a 'jig' before the welder did his work. It took a lot of time & cash, $800 total , but it turned out really nice & looks 'factory'. Track opens in 36 days for track testing .
