Equal Length Y-Pipe
I was checking out the Dr.Gas website on x-pipes and y-pipes. According to them, a y-pipe with equal lengths on both sides before the y-collector should will similar to a duals with an x-pipe. Also it should produce similar gains in power and torque.
This may be an simpler alternative to true duals. The only drawback I can think of would be less ground clearance.
Any thoughts?

Re: Equal Length Y-Pipe
I'm curious about this too. I'm thinkin about a true dual setup right now and this might be a good answer to my question.... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Equal Length Y-Pipe
sounds good, but lets see some testing to verify the hypothesis.
Hey Dug,
I'll be relocating to Addison, maybe you can show me around where the fast cars are?
Can I get a link for that Dr. Gas website?

Re: Equal Length Y-Pipe
The theory behind it is the same used for the xpipe. The result should be better sound, 5dB quieter, and more hp. Id try it.
Heres the link, http://www.drgas.com/ . Pretty simple huh?
I dont get out much so I couldnt tell you where the good places to find cars. Im sure someone in the midwest section can help you out.
