Fast Toys ram air kit question?
If Ive got all the bolt ons except the FTRA, will I notice any difference in power whether it be a seat of the pants feel or on a dyno? With that in mind, will I notice anything on the track? I know that this product may give you some power on a stock car, but what will it do on a all bolt on car? Thanks

No dyno hp because you have to be moving. You will feel a SOTP. Especially at 50mph on up your car will get squirley and better gas milage

it knocked .10-.15 off my ET's
you wont notice it on the dyno because its only gonna help once you are moving... faster you for the more pressurized your airbox gets

I doubt you'll see results on the dyno, because that sort of defeats the purpose of the ram-air effect of the FTRA(car not moving). You should see results at the track even if you have all the bolt-ons, .1-.2 in 1/4 is about what people see normally....

Thats really surprising! Will I see the .1 to .2 results even on a all bolt on car? I know that its very likely on a stock car because there are no modifications, but when youve added almost 100 hp to the motor, it kinda makes it harder for small modifications to actually show any gains. Thanks

Re: Fast Toys ram air kit question?
when i put the FTRA on i only had a lid and cutout... i went 13.3's roughly then added the FTRA and went 13.15-13.2
so its a definite pickup on a stock motored car... im sure it helped me get 11.9's NA

I have it on my heads and cam motor and I picked up an average of .17 so I say get it.

Re: Fast Toys ram air kit question?
Actually I have picked up about 100 hp to the motor! The car came with 325hp to the motor and now its pushing 420hp! So if you want to get technical, no not a 100hp, but 95hp. But whether or not Ive got all the bolt ons, its still going to give me that extra 1 to 2 tenths?
