Default Jet Hot Long Tube Headers

Has anyone ever had problems with Jet Hot Long Tubes for a 2000 WS6 leaking really bad, or any clearance issues?

I had mine on my camaro for a little over a year and they started to rust just a little on the bottom. The directions say to wipe them down once a month with soapy water but I never did. The clearance was ok alll though, I just had to knotch the K-member a little bit to get them to fit.

Did you use the gaskets that came with the set? And did you use slip on flanges or bolt ons? Any modifications required to make them fit? I love them except for this, I'm bringing it back to the header guy thursday to put it up on the lift to get a better look

I used the Slip on flanges, and had those welded, a little nicer look, and I did not use the gaskets that came with them, don't you are just going to run into problems, go to your local dealership or GM parts store online and get a pair of the stock ones that were originally on your car, better off new and they're only like 15 bucks a piece no more that 30.00 for a pair. these are metal compared to the paper coated or whatever they are from jet hot! Thats about it
