Default Difference between 01 trans am and 01 ws6?

I am considered a newb to all the f-bodies. I have a question, (didn't know where to post this) what is the difference between a 01 trans am and a 01 trans am ws6. I know the hood is different but what else. The intake box are they both in teh same spot, are they both the same? If someone could show me pics that'd also be great. Thx Dan

The lower air box is a little taller, better suspension, and freer flowing exhaust. Not to mention the 17" wheels. Thats about it.

Like Racer99Z28 said, it's basically an appearance package. It's all about that powerplant really. LS1.

Ram Air hood
WS6 lower air box
32mm front sway bar
1LE springs (for '98, '99, and some '00s)
WS6 badging & Ram Air decals
Lower restriction catback
17" high polished wheels w/ 275/40/ZR17 tires
Jounce spacers for 17X9" wheels
Power steering cooler

Also, 3.23 performance axle is on every WS6 I've ever seen, but it is listed as a separate cost option ($300) on the window sticker.

ok lets take this in terms that I know of... I understand the differences. Now with the pontiac grand am gt and se differences are the body style, suspension brakes intake "ram air" and different exhaust and gear ratios. Well when I get my trans am 5.7 litre v8... What should I do to make it perform like a mother. I want to drop it.. but not much at all I just want it to have better handling. SO is that eibach springs? then struts also what kind should I get? and then sway bars how does the after market look for that. So basically I want it to be a preforming car of course.

I didn't know about the power steering cooler Does anybody have a part number for the 1LE springs? I was looking for something a little better but don't want to drop her
