Default Loud belt... good replacement?

Hey, the belt on my car is a little loud, has a loud at idle, but not too loud, when im driving sometimes it sounds as if a bird is chirping near me. Im pretty sure i need a new belt, whats a good one to replace it with so the car is real silent except for the rumble.

Also another question. At idle when i tsart it up, there is an annoying nopise until it hits lope at 210 degrees, whats this noise? AIR? Thanks

I would be willing to bet it's a pulley, not the belt, probably idler or tensioner. It might also be the a/c belt and one of it's pullies. You could pull it off and re-install the main belt to try and isolate the problem.

That noise is probably the AIR pump, it's located behind the driverside foglight, stick your head down there and see if that's where it's coming from.

That chirping sound for me was def. the idler pulley, its like 20 bucks at autozone. But if it squeals more as the RPMs climb its probably the belt

Mine went from silent to screaming as the RPM's rose after I put my UD pulley and new belt on. Turns out the idler was loose. It was on the dyno at HPE when some guy says "It sounds awesome man" (talking about the exhaust), not 2 seconds later it starts screaming bloody murder.

One of my belts sort of whines the entire time I'm driving, but it doesn't change tone as RPMs raise like when I've had this problem in other cars. Know which belt it is?
