Default header question

i have a 2000 camaro and i am installing long tubes. i have had the codes deleated out of the system for the air and egr. when i removed all the stuff for the air pump there was a vacume line that ran to the air diverter valve is the best i can explain it( its on the back of the drivers side head) do i need to plug this line or can i leave it off because it is only a 2 inch piece that runs from a solenoid that i dont think will activate sience the air and egr are disabled. any help thanks guys
