ok 5.7 liter ls1 01... stock... for exhaust and intake its bad to change the diameter of things for flow. Example 3 inch header outlet to 2.5 inch pipe to a coupler to 3 inch muffler... out 1 inch tips etc. things of that nature. Well I want a mean sounding exhaust and I want performance... What would you guys say if I wanted Hooker Lt's headers to two highflow random tech cat-converters to a what x pipe... to a borla muffler and borla tips? would that work?

With the x pipe, you wil not be able to run one borla. From what I have read, you would be better off going with bullet mufflers.
