Default Belt Squeak

My main serpentine belt is squeaking. So i sprayed it with some wD-40 and it stopped squeaking for about 10 seconds. Do you think the belt is what needs to be replaced? Thanks

Easy to find out, just take the belt off and check for any crackes or unusual wear and replace it. If after replacing the belt and it still sqeaks, then start checking your pulley's and tensioners...not uncommon to replace any and all of these items on our car's. Good luck.
