Default McCord powerplate wiring/install???

my mccord didnt come with wiring instructions, so i was wondering if someone here could run me through it cuz i know little about wiring. i will probably run the wires up through the bolt hole under the back seat and under the carpet to the center console, but i need to know exactly how to wire the rest (which wires to tie into, etc.)

Pretty much any hot lead and any ground will work. Ground it to a bolt that goes into the body. You can jump a hot lead from the cigarette lighter or just run another wire back to the fuse panel.

I responded to your other post as well but its easy:

Red Wire splice into pink wire on TCS/ASR switch.

Black wire ground.

Done.

I used the hot and ground under the driver's seat.

Mine are; going to try and re-seal them around the butterfly and see if it helps

Default leaks

Before I installed my QTP, I put a small bead of the high temp RTV on the surface where the plate bears against the cut-out mounting plate. It made a nice gasket and it didn't leak. Unfortunately the motor died 4 months later
