Default Long Tube owners - need measurements (HELP)...

My car is lowered with the Eibach Pro-Kit and I'm going to be getting LT headers and building a custom Y-pipe with oval stainless. I have been doing searches and reading old posts for 3 days now, I still cant find the specifics I'm looking for.

No matter which brand LT you have (Thunder, QTP, TTS, PPC, FLP) could you get me a measurement from the floorpan to the bottom of each collector and post the measurement points, numbers and your header type?

This information would be most useful to those of us with lowered vehicles in figuring out clearance ranges for the different types. Thanks for any help that is given.

Did you ever measure mine while I was over there? If not, we can measure when I bring you your $$$.

Chris, why the longtubes? Have your plans for the car changed???

The FLP and Dynatech headers probably tuck up closer to the floor than any others. I don't have any measurements on mine, but I could crawl underneath with a tape measure this afternoon if you need me to.

George, Yes the turbo idea has been shelved for now. I need to come down and check out your new lid anyway, so we can measure them next time I stop by. Thanks.

Anybody else out there running different types of headers? Come on folks take 5 minutes and get a brother a measurement!!!

Chris, I don't have access to my car right this minute - its in storage about an hour away. But I do have some pics on my website showing clearance of TTS headers with a container of oil turned on its side for a reference.

Driver's side:

Pass side:

Drivers side is a bit tight because of the clamp. You could rotate the clamp to gain a few more tenths, I just had it turned that way cause it was the easiest position to tighten it. Passanger side looks great tho.

I have to run home tonight, i'll try to get under with a tape measure and give you some numbers.

I should be able to get those measurements tomorrow.

This is amazing!! I'd get more replies if I asked the age old question of which lid to run!!
