Default Crankshaft Pulley Question

Belt assembly is making an annoying chirping squeeky sound. The sound is definitely coming from the crankshaft pully. Do I replace the pulley or use lubricant. Or do I just replce the belt.
Thanks for all replies.

Default Re: Crankshaft Pulley Question

Are you sure its the crank pulley?...because the idler pulley is (in)famous for making this kinda noise. Easiest thing to do though is probably like you said, just replace the belt and see if it goes away. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
