looks to me as if your x-pipe is on upside down. from the side the x-pipes should look as if they're going up to the mufflers, yours look like theyre going down.
i did the same thing when i first put mine on, got an extra 2 inches of clearance by flipping the x. try to turn the mufflers at a 45 degree angle too, unless you like interior rattles.

i went from less than 3inches of clearance to at around 5 inches by flipping the x and messing with the pipes. try putting a jack or something underneath the mufflers and raise them up as high as you can without touching the body, then tighten down your clamps and hangers. I know you can get a lot more clearance than you have, just have to play around with the setup a little.

Get rid of the clamps, have them welded. They need to be pushed up alot, like everyone has said, play around with the pipes and flip your fuel lines out of the way also.

I'ma go with X upside down, even with fuel lines flipped, you shuld not be at half a popcan.
I can't really see on the one pic with the X but thats what id check first.

Second flipe the fuel line and tuck it up with a jack and a 2x4".
You may have to drill again but that seems too low for that kit.

Also make sure the rear axle isn't hanging and it's supported by some ramps or concrete blocks.

get rid of those u-clamps and get yourself some quality bandclamps!!if you ordered from tsp recently they should have sent you the band clamps not the u-clamps.

I also think the x is on upside down, but I'm not sure. I have pics of mine in my sig of the way it was before it ran out the back. You will need to flip the fuel lines and bash a few things in to get it riding as high as mine though.
