Default Can anyone identify this MAF?

Came on the 98 Z28 I just bought for cheap. It is red plastic with no sign of any screens. Measures ~ 74mm at the narrowest point. No PNs on it. Car is basically stock, runs like a champ, so there are no issues, just wondering what this MAF is.

Is it good, bad, indifferent for use on a basically stock car?

Holy mole! Just looked up Granatelli MAF on Tbyrne site. 300 for this? I'm thinking whoever parted with 3 bills expecting 10-23 hp was disappointed. That's on the optomistic side.

I would sell it and invest in a more worthy mod and just find a stock replacement with a screen. You might be running a tad bit lean with that MAF. And yeah, they aren't cheap.

Sell it a buddy of mine had one and pick up knock bad 4 degrees . His Afr was way off 16.5 WOT!!!!!! he had no other modds and was the only owner of the car. I gave him an extra I had off an o2 Z and for ***** an giggles we dynoed his car with it and it pulled 298hp 260TQ with a m6. Sad as hell this was also an o2 with 44k miles on it. With a quick change and no other mods or changes to the tune it made 320hp 335 TQ With the a drop in kn filter and a de screen maf and a cut air box and my old slp lid he put down 332 hp and 345 TQ through stock exhaust Just my experiance with one

If so, does that mean it doesn't have all the negatives people have posted about the granatelli in this thread? Or should I still look to swap it for a completely stock unit?

yup I had the same problem with my slp I was running from11.1-12.6 afr and it looked like a ******* roller coaster on the dyno. after the tune was said and done I gained nearly 25 hp and over 30 tq. I love it now but thank god I got a tune.

Looks like the Granatelli MAF to me. I used to have a Granatelli MAF, and it was a piece of junk. Get rid of it, and put a stock MAF back on there.
