Default am i trippin with stock manifolds?

I am just woundering why my car is not feeling powerfull so i am woundering how important headers would be at this point of my mods. All mods are in sig. and it would help if you guys could point out what i should look into getting ? I just feel as if my power under the curve is nothing to none? any suggestions?

I had no idea Vortech made a catback for our cars.

Anyways, the manifolds may indeed be holding you back some power, especially with the P1SC on there pushing it all through. On our more stock cars, they pick up around 20-25 rwhp untuned and as much as 30-35 rwhp with a good tune. I'd imagine you'd gain a bit more than that if you put on some good longtubes and a high-flow catted Y-pipe or an Offroad Y.

yep, thats definately a choking point for your motor especially with the SC.

stock f-bodies usually get 15-30rwhp with a tune and full exhaust, so id imagine you'd get more than that with the forced induction

edit: beaten

does anyone have actual dyno results from before and after a header install with headers being the only additional mod being done?

Thanks

The LS6 should flow just fine for you unless you're planning on going with even more power than you already have. If you want to spend more money, go with the FAST 90mm intake, but I really don't see it as being worth the money over the LS6.

If you went with a QTP headers and Y-pipe, and an ls6 intake manifold then tune it youll prob pick up around 40hp or so. Could you also get a smaller pulley for your s/c or no??

Atleast 30rwhp is to be had with headers and intake. Proabably compliment the P1SC nicely too.

with the headers i've heard you will lose alittle psi because of less restriction so you may have to pulley up alittle, but that's a good thing to make the same or more power under less pressure.

LS6 intake + headers + tune? if you don't see 50hp i'd be upset. you can do that on a stock car without a blower.
