Default True dual muffler

I plan on changing my exhaust to true duals from a custom exhaust shop. My question is which muffler should I go with? I want a deep, throaty sound but dont want any rasp or drone. The guy suggested on race flowmasters but Ive heard that flowmaster cat-backs dont flow very well on our cars. But I have heard them before and they dont sound to bad. Would the race mufflers hurt performance quite a bit? Should I go with bullets?......Any suggestions from true dual cars is appreciated

Spiral flows, 0 Rasp, no drone, and sound deep. They are the best sounding mufflers I have heard on true duals. And trust me, if I didn't like how they sounded I would have put on different mufflers by now.

I just put a couple of flow master bullet mufflers on....Striaght through, no blockage or **** like that. Sounds awesome, especially over 3,00rpms.....I also dump before the axle,my turn downs are pointed in @ a 45 degree angle,I dont get alot of Drone or rasp....I get alot of looks everywhere I go.....

the flowmaster single chambers he recommends have no similarity to the catback you're thinking of. they're about 6 1/2" - very tiny. they flow very and IMO produce the BEST sound an f-body can make. i highly recommend them. great flow + best sound + cheap = flowmaster single chambers (summit has them for like $70).

I looked through a Summit catalog earlier and all I could find was 2 and 3 chamber mufflers. Anyone have dynomax bullets with their true duals? If so, how do they sound and flow?..............Thanks

I just got my TSP TDs with dynomax bullets today, they'll be on by Friday. I'll try to get a soundclip up by this weekend. Go to the true dual section on ls1sounds.com and click on the 99 WS6 w/ hooker LTs and TSP TDs. I was told that those are the bullets in those vids. As for the flow, well what do you think?

he's right on all acounts, and I got mine from Summit too. If you want a bullet style muffler though, the Moroso spiral flow is a good choice. It has a good tone, and no rasp, its just not as deep as the flowmaster.

I have powersticks on mine with magnaflow cats and love the way it sounds. My exhaust is under the axle so i don't know how they would sound dumped but all I know is I get comments on it everywhere I go, no rasp, no drone, just a nice little rumble.
