Default LT's, X pipe, !cats - OK to drive untuned, long distance?

I've got a trip coming up this weekend and the wife wants to take the TA.

I just got headers, X pipe, etc installed, no cats. Is it safe to drive 200 miles at a clip, untuned? I wouldn't mind driving it down this weekend myself, but not if I'm going to get 20 mpg highway and crud things up LOL.

to quote your avatar...

"now you listen here Pandejo..."

Yeah, it'll probably vibrate some.

I don't think I would run without a tune. Unless you like the smell of unburnt fuel. Way to rich. Maybe you need another reason to get on it and blow the carbon out. LOL !

Mines untuned, runs fine, no excess fuel smell (anymore) and it gets ~22mpg (used to get 19) on my weekly commute

Running untuned right now, no tuners nearby, and I don't have the software, so I'm on the stock one for a while (unless I get a wild hair and toss in a cam (then I'll drive the 350 miles and get it tuned)

You will be fine. You might not feel a huge increase in power, might even feel a loss. So, get that thing tuned asap. I made an extra 20hp and 15 tq with tuning.

Be ready to run rich. The car will tune itself to an extent, but you really should get it tuned after your LT install to maximize your gains and MPG.

The PCM should able to tune +-25% without a tune as far as trims, so it will be fine.
But tune it as soon as you can

No tune here. I don't plan to tune it until I get a cam actually.

Pacesetter long-tubes
Off-road X-pipe
Dynomax Bullet Race Mufflers dumped before axle
