Default Keep my Mac Mids or go SLP?

Well, I think I found a good deal on a set of SLP LTs. Do you guys think I would see much of a gain by swapping my Mac Mids with the SLP? BTW, my 3" dual system will be in tomorrow

If you wanna deal with the SLP issues you have right at it, but you cant even run SLP headers and a pro-kit without flattening the bottom of the headers, they are designed completely against clearance!!! I love my pacesetters

I know the SLPs are gonna have clearance issues. I still have stock springs, so I should be alright. How about the power difference? Would there be a noticable improvement?

maybe 5-10 hp. do yourself a favor and take the money and buy pacesetters. you'll save money, install will be easier, you'll have good ground clearance and you'll have all the benefits of ceramic coated headers. if you're looking at SLP because they're stainless, they still rust for some reason. that's right, people have complained that their STAINLESS SLP HEADERS RUSTED. just get the pacesetters, they're a much better use of the money.

$375 bucks new @ TSP. anyone can afford that. seriously, SLP headers rust. don't ask me why. i've heard complaints of them rusting in as little as a year. ask around. you're best off with pacesetters. better design, fit, easier installation and the best price out there. that's what i'll be getting once i get some $$$.

Another vote for coated pacestters, the SLPs are pretty damn low, so they pretty much knock out any thoughts of lowering your car (if you've even considered lowering don't get SLPs)

Keep the macs over the SLP headers. I don't see why SLP sticks to that design of header when all others use a better design.

If you have the money get Pacesetters over SLP, or save and get QTP's over Pacesetters.

SLP's hang low.low.low....saw them on a 95 t/a and no lowering and they were less than 2" from the ground....
