SLP Blackwing lid?
I was just wondering if anybody knows if a "blackwing" lid will fit on a 99 Camaro and if so is there anything I will have to modify to make it work. Thanks in advance for any info.

If you're talking about the blackwing lid that came on some SS and firehawks then yes. No modifications necessary.
If you're talking about the blackwing filter for vette's then no. The vette filter is what I first think about when I hear 'blackwing.'

Just be sure you get all of the paraphernalia that
goes with it; the plastic lid itself doesn't mate up to
anything without the flare hose piece, etc. That's
SLP's scam, make it ala carte and it looks cheap
until you find out about the extra bits you don't get.
Be sure you have the complete thing.

I eventually removed AIR and plugged the hole
with a black plastic snap-plug from Lowe's or
Home Depot, can't remember which. I used some
black weathestrip adhesive to make it air / dust-
tight
