I had the same problem when i only did those two mounts. The main issue is that it is not good to have poly trans mount with stock rubber motor mounts because the trans is to stiff and the rocking the motor does under throttle could crack the trans case. I did poly motor mounts and all annoying vibrations went away. My whole car shakes a little more but it is really not that bad. I drive my car daily and have true duals the biggest help of the poly motor mounts is that they keep the exhaust off the floor boards.

Maybe we can find you a stock trans mount to throw in to see if that fixes it. Or try the ES trans mount (I got mine locally). I have the ES trans & tq arm mounts and don't have the bad vibes.
BTW, you need to update your sig for the 231/237!

the poly mount will vibrate hard for ~1,000 miles then simmer down quite a bit..

I had a poly tranny mount for over 30k miles before i put in poly eninge mounts on my thirdgen. and as far as i know lots of people get poly tranny mounts first and use it for awhile before they change to poly engine mounts.

I dont think just having a poly trans mount will hurt anything.

I have had great results with prothane mounts. u can feel / hear more road noise with poly over rubber, but its worth it, I think.

Either this is true, or you just forget about it.

I put a poly trans moutn in and it was noticably noisier, but I wouldn't get rid of it if you paid me. It helped wheel hop and shifting/shifter movement.

I'm also a believer in stock trans mounts with factory motor mounts, but to each his own.

Maybe it is because the trans is not moving now so the engine is doing more moving/vibrating since everything is stiffer now except the motor. Installing the poly engine mounts may help.

Poly engine mounts are da shiznit!!! My ride is so smoother now.

if you still have your stock motor mounts, try taking the preload plate off of the trans mount, then re-trying it.

on alot of cars, the engine is sagging up front because of worn mounts.. putting in a new trans mount raises it up... the poly one with the plate is actually a tad bit taller then stock.... because of this, it throws the driveshaft angle off, and causes vibration in some cars...

True on the above. Take out the plate and shave the bumps down, it will decrease the vibrations.

dont worry about the bumps. really you jsut need to remove the plate.

on the trans half of the poly tranny mounts, there are preload bumps, and a flat plate.

the concept is, as you tighten the mount, it compresses these bumps on the flat plate, and preloads the poly mount..

the problem is, the mount is too tall..

the solution most guys do, is remove the preload plate. this doesnt work on all transmissions, but the T56 and 4L60E have enough of a flat area to preload directy on the transmission...so you dont need the plate.

Its a firmer material so it transmits more vibration frequency through the car...

The Tranny mount is whats doing it. Go back to a stocker there and it will go away.

You think that a poly tranny mount vibrates? Try putting in solid motor mounts or a motor plate LOL!

All that aside, I was wondering how much it was gonna vibrate when I swap the motor and tranny mount to poly. NOt that it matters, as I"m gonna use them anyway.
