Default PORTED MAF ENDS

I have a 98 camaros ss with the m6. I havent found too much on ported maf ends. Are they any good on a m6? Will I have any problems? If they are good will it be a noticable gain. I was thinking the thunder racing ones or the fast toys. Any comments please make them

Thanks

I really haven't noticed a gain in power. I guess every little bit helps...i did have to use Atap and a MAFT to straighten out my AF ratio since the MAF ends were making me run lean.

Take the comment about running lean to heart. This seems to be a common issue with the ported MAF ends. Listen for pinging in the upper RPM ranges. If you get it, tune it out or switch them back. It's not a good thing.

I have the ported MAF ends on my 2002 WS6. They look really nice and I could feel a slight difference in throttle response. Probably only added a couple of hp though. I had to tune it with ATAP and MAFT too b/c I was getting some knock retard at the top of 4th. I'm happy with my purchase of them though .

I didn't port them, but I sure polished the hell out of them (inside only). My TB too. Outside still looks stock, but you can see all the way to Kansas in the reflection from the polishing I put on them Can't say I run much faster after all that work, but I am still on the rich side of A-OK!
