Granatelli vs. SLP MAF

Re: Granatelli vs. SLP MAF
From how it seems, the SLP stuff is all crap. I would go with a GMS one... they have 3 cailbrations: stock air intake system, cold air intake system, and dry nitrous.
If you have a cold air, go with that one. It is a bit richly calibrated due to the more air flow into the motor.

Re: Granatelli vs. SLP MAF
The SLP MAF is GM guts with a resistor soldered
onto it to "calibrate" it for the F-body. Hard
to screw that up, it's all OEM hardware aside
from the decal and the resistor. Pull off the SLP
decal and there's the Delphi manufacturing tag
underneath.
On my car it's right on, mixture wise (no diff
from the stock as far as LTFT numbers said).
Do your reading on the GMAF and be sure you get
whatever's right; lots of folks seem to have
lean mixture trouble after, for whatever reason.
If you needed leaning out, good; if not....

Re: Granatelli vs. SLP MAF
I tried tuning my PE vs RPM table with LS1Edit and the GMAF. No dice. Seems the changes made to the PCM were not taking effect on the wideband 02. I put the stock one back on and will test with LS1Edit to see if changes were taking effect.
