Default LS6 intake install.. Quick Q..

Well, started the LS6 intake install today... While taking the bolts out of the intake i noticed one didn't want to budge, sure enough withthe next turn she snapped. Any advice on how to get whats left of the bolt out of the head?? Thx

**** that **** fucken suxs!!!!! that happened to me...but mine was less of a bolt in there....get some pliers....and try to take it out....

I would definitely soak that for a couple of days with Liquid Wrench before attempting to take it out. Once soaked, I would use vise grips and go slow!

FIRST thing I would do is stuff some rags in the ports, then get a shop vac and brush and clean the bloody hell out of that thing. Be damn glad you have at least SOME sticking out of the head.

PB blaster/liquid wrench soak job is a good idea too. The cleaner you can get it, the more likely it is to run down in the threads and the better luck you'll have with it.

Looks like the bolt was never tightened down in the first place and the hole for it held water.

Thx, i think i'll soak it a little bit everyday till the weekend.. Then i'll cross my fingers and hope she turns.
