I wrestled with headers and loudmouth, welding in bullet mufflers, etc...

Nothing helped, so I bought magnaflow, and I am 1000000000000% happier!

I have the 16 1/2" bullet dynomax muffler. I hope this helps me.

I'm running straight headers now, but will be installing the y-pipe soon.

btw - no tickets yet!

How do bullets sound at the end of long tubes?

summit lists a 23 1/2" and a 16 1/2" lengths..

How much quieter are the longer ones vs the shorter ones?

How do bullets at the end of long tubes sound opposed to bullets at the end of an X pipe?

I just had my muffler shop install my 16 1/2" bullet(it only took them 40 mins ). It sounds better, although I'm not happy w/ the sound. It still chatters @ 2500rpms when I touch the gas at cruise, but not as much as it did. The welder told me that it would've sounded better w/ a longer bullet muffler. I wouldn't know because I didn't buy a longer one. The bottom line is, to anyone that wants this set-up, good luck, the car is loud and imitates the LM w/ cats at higher rpms; which was something I wanted changed w/ headers. Oh well.

I'm going to save up and buy a hooker catback most definitely. The bullet can't compare w/ the hooker IMO.

If you put them in the Y-pipe, use the shorter ones. I did that when I had MACs.

I used a single longer one in the I-Pipe to kill rasp with my current set-up.
