427 HP with a stock tail and muffler.....
Go figure. Take LS1, add Cartek Stage 2x, let them tune...go 11's. I'm one pretty happy camper with those numbers.
Mods: Ls6 Intake, Stainlees QTP's, ASP Pully, Stage 2s cam/head package.
Yet to add..still in garage: BG Ram, Elec Cut-out, Bauer TB.
Huge Kudos the Howard, Joe, Julio, and Dave for the good numbers.

Good #'s but go figure this.. My East Side Performance head and cam package put down 439 thru the stock I pipe, muffler and tail pipes.

I like it! Gotta love the LS1. And as fart as spending bucks on a cat-back....it may help, bet were proof its not an absolute need. Not sure what other mods you have. I have a stock auto, no shift kit or converter. Stock rear. Heard great things about east side and we know Jay at absolute is cool. Are your taunting?

Im sure that Jay @ Absolute is a good guy however, he has nothing to do with East Side's head and cam packages. We dont use his heads.
As far as the taunting goes.... it is racing season right?

Sorry about that ...Jay had told me once that he was a fan of east side (i thought) and for some reason though you used his heads. Sorry. Ok..speaking #'s..if I remember right...you use non-corrected #'s...corrected only by tha shop temp of 70 degrees??? Also , you claimed a whole "package" mas used, not justy a couple of "trinkit's here and there".
That being said... you have a stick as well right. I add the Bauer TB and perhaps a Texas Lid and I'm with ya... and I'm corrected in an auto. hmmmm
correct me, as i know you will, if I am wrong.

FWIW all the dynojet #'s that were reported on that car were SAE corrected. The reason why we keep the shop temp at a constant 70 degrees is, if you get the computer board to hot the dyno will put out a false # in your favor. Some shop's that we know of do just that(wont mention any names) But like I previously stated there are no dyno tricks at East Side. Also the final # with open headers was an amazing 464/420

JamMasterJ - Could you get some pics of your headers from the bottom of the car? Trying to get a feel for the clearance and would like a visual on it. Thanks and congrats on the great numbers. By the way, how are your under hood temps with the uncoated stainless?

OSR1...thats cool, undertood, never read your explanation int he past. Congrats, and as i said before , only heard good things about East Side.
Photos...give me some time but there is PLENTY of clearance with the headers...work with the Y is more intense, but clearance does soom to be an issue at all. I will take some by Moday and get them to you...assuming I remember...feel free to email me and you will definately get them.
Under the hood temps...I had that concern so I got the BG Ram Air. No idea yet... only have 10 miles on it...damn snow and ice here.

So are you telling me you lost 25 HP by adding pipes and muffler behind the headers??? Wow...maybe cut-outs are worth it....Oh Barry..."Unleash the Power".
I also assume your not claiming CT used any dyno tricks and you were referring to others?
