You don't want an open bung. Make sure you plug the holes or keep the O2's in there.

this may be a stupid question considering that there are 2 other o2 sensors before the cats but if i leave the rear o2 sensors in without cats will it ruin the rear o2 sensors?

you have to keep the front o2 sensors, but you can either plug the rears, put the stock ones back in and get them tuned out(if you dont want to throw a code), or buy o2 sims.

I would just leave the rears in and tune the codes out.

the light will keep coming on, you will have to have the codes tuned out. talk to some sponsors on here, they can hook you up with a good price. this way you will never have to worry about throwing the code.

yeah i'v been thinking about a tune also but i'm really thinkin about geting a procharger with 8lb of boost so i might wait on the tune. i figure takin off the cats will help push out more air.

haha yea you will lose some low-end but not much, and it will help you out anywhere up top, where we mostly use the cars to go fast on the street haha. dont know how cops are were you live, but my buddy is running a tr224 cam, gutted cats, no muffler, and its his daily driver in his 98 Z. the car is redisculusly loud, i dont know how he stands it for a daily driver, but anyway hes been pulled over a couple times, and the cops looked under the car to look for cats, they were both there(just gutted) so he got off with nothing. if i were you, and your worried about cops, i would just gut your cats incase they take a look down there.
