Default SES light on after o2 simm install...

How long do I need to wait? I just installed them and left the car parked, running for 5 mins, what gives?

How long do you have to wait for what? O2 sims aren't exactly the most reliable things. They commonly dont work very well.

I have to send my computer out? To who? Isn't there an easier way?

Ok, an update. I drove my car for about an 1 hr before the light turned off <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . For anyone needing this info, this will be a good thread to follow. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I just got a set of O2 simms in anticipation of gutting out my cats. I think I'm going to plug them in and run them for a few days to see how they work out. I'm curious to see what the data reads on the Tech 2 scan tool with them installed. I assume it switches below and above 450 mV like the HO2 sensors do? And the heater circuit must work too not to set a code? I'm going to make sure they work before ruining my cats.
