Default Kook's Custom Headers checking in

Well, we've been sponsors now for a good couple of weeks. I figured it's about time we introduced ourselves. My name is Nick Filippides. I conduct day to day sales, provide tech support and when there's time, (like right now), market our products to the racing industry. I'm proud to say I work for one of the elite header building companies in the industry. Kook's was established in 1962 and has spent the majority of that time custom building race headers for a wide variety of application. From 6 second Pro-Mods and NHRA Pro Stockers to killer NMCA, NMRA, and PRO drag cars, we've accomplished quite a bit in the world of drag racing. Our headers have also made their mark in the world of Asphault and Dirt Modified racing, where some of the quickest race cars run our headers.
We took all this race header experience and applied it to the newest generation of hot rod, that being of course LS1 powered F-bodies that truly run the gamout of where hi-tech performance is headed. Ultimately, we're hoping to provide LS1 owners the opportunity to buy the highest quality headers at reasonable prices. Those of you who already own Kook's Headers are more than aware of their quality and the level of performance they offer. (Trust me, it's second to none.) For those who aren't familiar, please feel free to call and inquire. I'll be more than happy to go over your combo and help you select the best header for your car. I'll chime in from time to time to help answer your tech questions but personalized service is just a toll free call away. 866-586-5665. Thanks Nick "Kook's Headers"

Welcome. I can't wait to see your headers - a friend just ordered some. I have seen some of your other applications and I must say I was very impressed. What is the delivery time on a set of LS1 headers? You custom build them per order correct?

That's correct Classic. Every order is custom built. We don't stock these headers for the simple reason that most LS1's are modified and they require a specific set of headers to optimize the engines performance. A good example for instance would be if a customer asked that we don't install air tubes. That can be done. How about the racer who needs egt bungs welded on, no problem. Not to mention the obvious pipe size issues that each combination needs to address. We'll cater to all these issues. Headers normally ship out within 2 weeks of the day their ordered but if their going for coating you'll have to add a bit more time to that. Unfortunately, this time of the year all coating companies are jammed up. Thanks for inquiring. Nick "Kook's Headers"

Thanks for the info Nick. I might be looking into a set of your headers if I don't get my QTPs soon.

Why no pictures of your headers? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Pictures would be nice. How long are the primary tube lengths, and what material are they constructed from?

I'm interested in your 13/4 stepped to a 1 7/8 with the emissions equipment on ,ceramic coated in and out. I'm also interested in a 3-3.5 y pipe with carsound cats, do you offer that. do you make a stepped version of the y pipe transitioning from 3 to 3.5 in?

I talked to Rich this morning, he's a good guy but your phone's suck. I could hardly hear him, he kept cutting in and out. I made out every third word he said, anyway he told me about your company and it seems like you guys must know what you're doing.

I'm awaiting my dyno graphs to be mailed to me. Once I get them I'll post them up here so everyone can see.
