Default LT Headers, LS6 intake, and MTI tuning = 15hp??

I dynod my car before I added tuning, ls6 intake and jet hot headers and I got 323 hp and with the additional mods listed I only got 15 hp, to 338. TQ increased by even less. Does this seem low to anyone? I guess it might be about the average but I was kind of expecting atleast 20 from all that. No 1/4 times and no SOTP verdict yet b/c it has been raining since I got it done. What do you think?

i really hope you meant to type 323 not 232

Cause if you got 232 andonly 15 more... then i dont know what to tell you... But i would have expected more than 15 with that work.

Ryan.

Was your before dyno done at MTI? It does seem low, but dynos can vary between shops and between days.

Both dynos were at MTI.
There was a pretty bad storm going on outside while I was dynoing this time as opposed to a clear day last time but I don't know how that effects dyno numbers. If the correction factors even it out or what.
I know track numbers will tell the real story but I just took off my bald nittos and put on some regular radials so it would be almost pointless to go to the track with my 3800 stall and street tires.
I am just hoping I didn't waste $1K+ for 15 HP.

If there was a storm going on while you were dynoing, I would take these numbers with a grain of salt. Rain means 100% humidity which means low performance. Dyno on a clear day and then compare.

oh man, I HOPE TO HELL there are outside factors involved here! My heart sank when I read your post! I would feel positively sick if thats all I gained after adding things like that (which I will be doing)

Those are great numbers IMO, you need to remember a 3800 stall is going to use about 10-15rwhp compared to the stock torque converter. 338rwhp in a stalled auto is really good Congrats.

Well I had a 3700 stall in when I dynod my last time as well, but it was the ST 3700 as opposed to my TCS 3800. I don't think that the TCS would be that les efficient though, if at all. And yes, I hope that these numbers are irrelevent to b/c it was storming but doesn't the correction factor even out the weather conditions or does it not take into count the moisture?

Let us know the results if go dyno on a better day. My heart kind of sank as well when I read it. I went from complete stock exhaust to hooker jhc lts and true duals...I don't know what kind of hp increase I would get ..but for the money I spent..I hope it is more than 15.
