Default Installing hooker cat back

Well i just recieved my cat back today from thunder racing and when it gets a little warmer i would like to install it. a couple of questions before i embark on this journey:

1) how hard is this install

2)does everything mount up pretty well

3)will i need to buy any extra parts, ie-brackets or hangers

4)am i better off goign and getting this put on somewhere
any help is appreciated, thanks guys

my main worry was about getting up in the air, i got a one car garage and a driveway, its tight quarters, but im sure i can manage, thanks for the input.

You will have to cut about a 1/4" off the pass side pipe out of the muffler.

One car garage, jackstands, floor jack, hooker catback? TOO EASY! Probably the most difficult part you will come across aside from pullin the old pile of junk out is lining up the tips correctly. You'll love the sound. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I just installed my Hooker cat back this weekend. I had to buy a new 2 3/4" exhaust band clamp to connect the I-pipe to the Y-pipe. The tips took some time to get perfectly alligned. Other than that, too easy!!

Alright guys the time came and i installed the whole thing in about an hour and a half, including cleanup in that time it was a damn breeze you guys were right. sounds pretty nice too i am satisfied. Thanks for all the input.

I had my hooker catback installed. How hard would it be to revert back to the stock Z28 catback?
