FRA effective on Ram Air Car?
My car is an 01 WS6 TransAm. I was wondering if the free ram air mod. on LS1.com would still be effective on my car if I were to remove the second hood baffle too. Air entering both ways-good or bad?

Re: FRA effective on Ram Air Car?
From what I have read the more air the better, however there is a kit out there that will get the most of the ws-6 hood by sealing off the hood to the box. Speed Inc. sells http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=induction
Almost haf-way down the page you will find it. Makes cense. Of course with this you would not want FRA.

Re: FRA effective on Ram Air Car?
If you have the Ws6 Ram Air car then i'd go with BGRA (Brian Greene's Ram Air Mod). I just installed it today and it's worth it. I can't say i feel it when i'm driving but i know it's helping me. Also why buy a Ws6 car if you aren't gonna use the ram air to its true potential. This mod does that.
