Default True dual guys, do you have the same issue as me?

Whenever I'm racing my car, in between my shifts my car sounds like it backfires. Its more of a "pop" sound. The car doesn't hesitate at all, I'm just wondering if it's because of running w/o cats. Want to make sure I dont have any backfire issues if I'm going to put n2o on the car. Thanks.

I don't have true duals, but my car is doing the same thing. I have stock manifolds and cats, and no muffler, and the popping sound happens rarely-it seems to happen when the car shifts and it seems to hold the gear for a moment. It also happens during more "spirited" driving--but rarely in that case. Don't know if that helps or not.

Yea, the popping only occurs at high rpm shifts. I never have it if I shift before 3500rpms.

Unburnt gas! Add hot sparkplugs to your exhaust tip for a nice flame!

I blew out a small fireball yesterday on a high rpm decel from my headers, ORY, and LM package.
