prohane motor mounts not lining up???

Angry prohane motor mounts not lining up???

im putting a set of prothane motors mounts and i got one side to line up...but the driver side is not even close to lining up...i tried taking the the part where the mount sits on.....which is the part that is bolted on the frame....i got it to line up but now it doesnt want to bolt down to the frame anymore....only two bolts want to line up.....its getting frustrated....ive been at it for a bout 2 hrs......!!!!any one had the same problem

You took the pedestal off the frame? Why did you do that ?

when i did mine with a buddy, it took us 2+ hours to get the pass. side back in.
yeah we took the pedastals off too

welcome to the club. i had PA tubular K-member with integrated pedastals and they were a bitch to get in. the BFH and pry bar is what i ended up using.

Damn man, when you do these you should do one side first before touching the other side. This makes lining it back up much easier.

Better get out the pry bar.

When I did mine, they were no problem.

I helped a friend do his and his passengerside one took forever to get to where it would go together. We had to break out the prybar.

I bolted my mount to the pedestal, then bolted the pedestal to the K-member when I installed mine. Try taking the tranny mount bolt out of the crossmember and shoving the trans over a little, might help you get it started.

With enough prybar action, you should be able to tweak anything into place though.
