best intake combination?
I have seen different intake bolt-on's like air lids, throttle bodies, mass air, ls6 intakes , bellows, and free mods. What is the best combination out there? H.P is a big issue. Lots of people buy stuff with no gains. Any suggestions -ThAnKs 4 any info. <img border="0" alt="[punch]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />

Re: best intake combination?
I would suggest a lid type induction system, 85mm MAF or ported and polished stocker, some kind of smooth bellows setup, and a fully ported/polished/epoxied TB to finish it off.
So maybe:
TSP lid -> Z06 MAF -> baker hose -> ported TB -> LS6 intake
So maybe:

There was a post like this not too long ago. There was a ton of good info there. Run a search if your interested. Anyway, here's the combo I'd go with if I started over...
FTRA > Holley Powershot Filter > TSP Lid > Descreened OEM MAF > Baker Hose > Bauer Ported TB > LS6 Intake (MAFT would be in there somewhere).

Re: best intake combination?
Here's the combo I'm going with (eventually, got most of it now):
FTRA >> AJFTRA adapter >> Stealth Lid >> Stock MAF >> Ported TB >> LS6 Intake
The Stealth lid comes with a new lower airbox as well as the upper lid and smooth bellows, which is part of the reason it is so pricey. I wouldn't mess with the MAF, too many issues with them. The stock one isn't a bottleneck, it's rated pretty high.
