Default Would a bad cat make me misfire? What would it do? Showing PO420 on the scan...

Im not sure whats going on exactly, im still trying to work things out. I have a 2001 Z, and im showing a PO420 catalyst inefficiency below theshold. so, what would a bad cat do? and could this bad cat possibly cause a misfire when its hot or cold?

One more thing, I noticed from my autotap logs that my computer went from a commanded air/fuel ratio of 14.6:1 to 15.8:1 and thats when the light came on. Why would it do that?

dude, you're running lean... what are your mods? you might want to invest in MAFT, but definately check out the lean condition. 14.1 seems to be the general consensus on the optimum ratio FYI
