Default Sealing the y-pipe?

What do i use to seal the y-pipe? will high temp RTV Gasket maker work?

I used Muffler Sealant from Carquest. Dries hard and no leaks! Costs about 3 bucks.

rtv high temp sensor safe here. Works fine with hooker y pipe so far.
