Default Drill Exhaust manifold??

Im doing a LS1 swap into my 89 camaro and the driver side o2 sensor wont work. So i need to drill the exhaust manifold for a new location. Is this possible. I already have the O2 sensor bung and plug... thanks

Why do you think moving it will help? If it's got stock manifolds, there's no reason why it wouldn't work, you've probably got another problem.

I have an 89 camaro though??? Im doing a LS1 swap into the car. The LS1 O2 sensor hole is not going to work cause there is no room. So i need to make a new location on the driver side manifold. Was thinking of doing on the Cat, but here is no place at all to do that. Does this make sence??

you don't have room to screw in the sensor is what you're trying to say?

Yes you should be able to drill/relocate it no problem. LT headers move the O2 sensor a LONG way off, and people rarely have problems. You will be fine.

What year and is it the stock manifolds? My '99 is stainless double walled tubing, if it's the cast units you should be OK.....
