Default SSRA or FTRA gains over FRA?

Anybody run at the track or the dyno with FRA and then with SSRA or FTRA? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanx.

I'll be comparing FRA to SSRA this w/end if the weather's good. I'll also be trying the track version of the Supersucker, over the street version.

There are two different versions of the SSRA's? Where can I see these? What are the differences?
Thanks.

Here's a pic of the track version of the lower box.
www.buickwe4.com/pic/DSC00012.jpg

It slides into the top just like the street version. This bottom box is big and ugly. It hangs about 3 inches lower than the regular version. Instead of a 2 inch mouth, this one is about 5 inches wide. This CANNOT be used on the street. If you did, you would wreck it in about 5 minutes. It's not pretty, but I'll see how it works hopefully this w/end if the weather cooperates.

Im anxiously awaiting your track results... Im possibly buying this and the track version to slip on long enough for a few local street races if there is much of a difference..

Be sure to keep us informed...

If you're going to street race with the track version, I would only use it for the run. Then I would take it off or you'll bust it. I'll let you know how it performs. E-mail me for more info on the track version.

Went to the strip. I only got 2 runs in before it started to rain. I was very inconsistent. I got a 13.6 and a 13.2. I think the track was very green and cold. This was there first event of the season. My previous best time was a 12.75 on the F1's with 4.10's. I've since installed long tube headers and a Comp cam 224/.581/112LSA. I was hoping for low 12's high 11's. I could not hook at all. I was spinning all the way through 2nd and most of third. I would let off then floor it again and it would still spin through 2nd and even 3rd. My previous best 60ft. time on the F1's was 1.967. Today my 60ft. times were 2.20's.
So as far as comparing FRA to the Supersucker to the track Supersucker, I can't give you any feedback.

does the ssra go infront or behind the radiator? if it's in front wouldnt that create a cooling problem?

All cold air/ram air kits mount in front of the radiator. On Autotap, my car consistently runs 180 degrees.
I need drag radials.
