Default Something on the drivers side fuel rail?

I just took off my intake and somehow broke off a fitting. The fitting comes from a 90 degree bend that goes to a small black cylinder connected to the drivers side fuel rail. Anyone have an idea of how to get this fixed? I'm not sure what this is either .

I broke mine a month ago. It is the fuel evap valve thingy . I ordered one from SDPC for about $10. You should throw a code.

CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID

Part # 1997278 (for '00 LS1)

EVAPORATION CONTROL CANISTER
Part # 17113332 (for '00 LS1)

I don't recall which part it was. I'm pretty sure it was the evap control canister. There should be a part number on the piece itself.

That is assuming we're referring to the same part. Good Luck!

Dan
