Default Plug Wire Question...

Hi All,

I'm making a remote coilpack mount, so obviously the factory length wires will no longer work. Do I need special ends (for the LSx coils) or will any universal type V-8 kit work? I like the looks of the Accel 5mm 300+ Ferro-Spiral Race Plug Wires but It's unclear as to whether the the coil end boots will work.

TIA!

I made my wires when I relocated my coils. Its been a while since, but I believe it was LT1 type plug wires I had to order. The LT1 end will fit on the LS1 coil. I have Taylor wires. Normal SBC wires will not work on the coils.

Guess I could take a coil to Advance and see what fits best. I'd like to be sure before ordering a $75 set of wires!

Thanks!

You'll need the LT1 "opti-spark" ends to plug into the LS1 coil packs. Thunder-racing sells a universal "make your own" kit.

Accel gave me part number #9001 for their wires, MSD gave me #32129 for their stuff. I looked for #31199 and could not find a hit on it... Thanks for your input(s).
