When looking at the front of the engine its the pulley in the lower left corner. Whatever this is is making noises and its getting soo hot that at night it glows. TIA. Its a '98 TA.

I never use my a/c. If its nice out, the tops come off. This happened after installing the throttle body bypass. Just to make sure, the whole thing doesn't glow, just the wheel in front.

hmmm?
Is the pulley you are refering to, driven by the assessories belt (6 rib) or the a/c belt (4 rib)? If it is that a/c compressor, maybe the clutch went out on it, or something. A bearing maybe?
I don't know how the TB bypass could have to do with that. So I would rule that out.

My a/c clutch was making a funny/annoying noise a while back. So I just took the a/c belt off. Problem solved! But, its starting to get rather warm here now.
