will my car run ok if i don't put air tubes back on? when my new motor goes in i was thinking of NOT putting the air tubes that hook to the headers back on. will the car still run normal? what all do i have to do not to havt them on? THANKS, mike c.

Re: will my car run ok if i don't put air tubes back on? a new ls1 engine???? sure, u can leave em out, u'll just need some block off plates to cover the holes and u'll want(not need) ls1 edit to edit out all of the codes relating to the air system. this isn't nessessary, but you'll throw a code if you dont. also, your car will probably fail an emissions test if they do a visual check
