headers painted instead of shining and coated Does it hurt the life of the headers much or at all to be painted black instead of getting the coated and having a chrome look? I have a black car and want the headers to be black to hide, because I am not going with black and chrome under the hood. Think getting the black painted would be too bad?

Re: headers painted instead of shining and coated Plus the coating helps with heat retention. I wouldn't worry about showing, they are very hard to pick out under there.
