I need to get another vid up with it being more aggressive.

Clearance wise, its "ok". The muffles are the lowest point

But to be honest, the previous system had a resonator so it almost sits as it did before. If I can do it again, I would maybe try to put the muffs by the tailpipes

Its probably not gonna sound as good with mufflers by the tailpipes but yeah your clearance will get much better. How long are those stingers?

Gonna be dyno tuning the car in about a week. So I'll be posting the vid. You'll get better idea of the exhaust then

So after well over a year of needing it, I finally got the true duals dumped into 'Sweet Thunder' chambered pipe (not even fair to call these things mufflers) off and redone with 3inch pipe dumping into 2 Magnaflow 14419s.

Holy ****. Its like having a new car. I can hear myself think! I can have a almost whisper quiet conversation in the car! It doesn't sound like simultaneously dropping a shampoo bottle in the shower, 7 cats in heat, and someone firing off a fully automatic rifle in a bedroom when I press the accelerator. And the tone is MUCH deeper. I love it. Special shout out to Dr Wingham for suggesting these and getting me a discount. I'll have to get some sound clips up later.

Help!! Just installed tsp x pipe and tried to fit 4x9 magnaflows on. My car is lowered and i have no ground clearence. Can i fix this with coilovers and tires? I currently have low profile tires and my car sits pretty low as is. Will the coilovers let me raise my ride height? I need about1.5 t0 2 inches. Thanks in advance for any help. Im a dumb ***!! It looked good on jackstands!! I even jacked it up by the axles to get an accurate mock up. But when i lowered the car it just kept going!!

I've read that there are performance gains in running a large single exhaust vs. duals. The internets seems to have conflicting opinions. Thoughts?

The advantage of single exhaust is that one side helps to scavenge the other when joined into one sufficiently-sized pipe.

Should look/sound awesome with my H/C set up...

I am currently running my true duals out the back...
Once i install the CME set up.. these tips & pipes will be f/s if anyone is interested... they mount right up to my Lanes true duals & run under the axle with Magnaflow 4in tips...

Any comments/ pic's would be appreciated.

I have CME on the Kooks 3" True Dual setup but didn't go to the muffler shop to have the work done. I actually designed my own bends for the Kooks exhaust. The CME is a 3" stainless tip from 6 LLC Designs.

Speed Engineering 3" x-pipe to dual Magnaflow 5"x14" cases. Toned down the car tremendously compared to the SE full dual system.

Ok, i have a question! I see a lot of reference to the "machine gun" sound around 3k rpm with the true duals and bullet muffler style exhausts. Is this the norm for these systems? I've just had a true dual with bullets and x pipe made here in the UK in the style of Kooks/Speed engineering duals and i have this "machine gun" type noise at around 3k.
