I think you get what you pay for in headers and FLP and QTP (while being expensive) are the best on the market today IMO.

Do a search on MAC midlengths. On a stock or near stock engine they flow well enough to give power just as good as LT's (or quite close) and are cheaper as well as easier to install. Just the headers can be had for $350 uncoated, I am getting the headers, ORY, and two Random Tech cats to put in it for $730 probably this summer, and either installing them myself (hopefully) or paying a pro $350 to install and dyno. As mentioned, Hooker does seem pretty cheap for long tubes and they are good but do you want to have cats or not?

I have the SLP Headers with their high flow cats. they were $1200 at the SLP show. You get what you pay for. I light the looks of my SLP headers. They fit great. No banging.

I have SLP lt's with no cats. Headers, install kit, and racepipes with O2 sims, cost me under 900 bucks. Slp had a smoking sale this past dec.

I got a set of FLP headers, they are very nice, except for breaking like 10 clamps so far that is that is the only shitty part...

Also my collectors started to rust, but they had a bad coating company before and now they switch to a better one and offered to recoat my headers for free...
