Default Budget Y - Pipe

Instead of belting out $350 + for an ORP and simulators not including labor. I opted to have a local (naughty) muffler shop gut my cats and replace the 2 flattened pipes after the cats with 2.5in mandrel bent pipe into a 2.5in Y joint then to my existing 3in Hooker Cat-back. I paid $200 labor included. Sure the car smokes a little, its expected with any ORP. But the reward for this budget exhaust modification is substantial. I can’t be exact on the HP gained, but I can definitely feel a SOTP power difference. I would recommend it to anyone strapped for cash that would like to get a little more power from the stock exhaust manifolds. Bottom line I’m Happy .
